UNILAG notice on upload of passport photograph on ID portal; The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued a notice to students in specific categories, instructing them to re-upload their clear passport photographs and signatures on the Identity (ID) Card portal: studentid.unilag.edu.ng.
The deadline for this exercise is 11:59 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Students Affected
The following categories of students are required to comply:
- All new students admitted in the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
- Returning students who are yet to collect their ID cards and have written to the Directorate of Academic Affairs.
- Students who lost or misplaced their ID cards but have evidence of payment for a replacement and a valid Police Report on the loss.
Important Guidelines
- The passport photograph must be taken on a white background.
- All uploads must strictly follow the guidelines specified on the ID card portal.
- Failure to comply with these requirements will result in ID cards not being printed.
Deadline
- The deadline for uploading passport photographs and signatures is 11:59 pm, Friday, August 22, 2025.
Students are strongly advised to complete the upload promptly to avoid disruptions in the processing of their University ID cards.
