This prestigious scholarship supports outstanding international students from non-EU/EEA countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at one of Europe’s most innovative universities — the University of Twente, Netherlands.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country.
- Have provisional admission to a UT Master’s programme for 2026/2027.
- Not have graduated from a UT undergraduate or graduate programme.
- Belong to the top 5–10% of their graduating class.
- Hold a valid UT student number after securing admission.
- Meet English language requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in speaking, OR
- TOEFL iBT: 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking.
- Be able to finance remaining study and living costs (since UTS is partial funding).
- Comply with Dutch visa requirements (if applicable).
Scholarship Value
- Award range: €3,000 – €22,000 for one year.
- For two-year Master’s programmes, renewal is possible under these conditions:
- Maintain an average grade of ≥ 7/10 by the end of the 3rd quartile.
- Earn at least 50% of European Credits (ECs).
Eligible Fields
All Master’s degree programmes at the University of Twente are eligible except:
- Pre-Master’s programmes
- ITC faculty programmes
- Dutch/EU/EEA students paying statutory tuition fees
