UNIMAID Issues Disclaimer on Fake Admission Agents; The Management of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has issued an important disclaimer regarding the activities of fraudulent individuals and fake online platforms posing as the University’s representatives in connection with the ongoing admission processes.

Beware of Fraudulent Agents

The University categorically states that these claims are false and fraudulent, as they are orchestrated by scammers seeking to exploit unsuspecting candidates and members of the public.
The University of Maiduguri has not appointed or authorized any third party, individual, or online platform to act as its admission agent.
Legitimate Admission Process
For the avoidance of doubt:
- The only recognized and legitimate channel for admission into UNIMAID is through the Office of the Registrar.
- All admissions are conducted strictly in line with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) guidelines and the University’s official admission procedures.
Public Advisory
- Members of the public are strongly advised to ignore fake admission platforms.
- Do not engage with or make any payments to individuals posing as admission agents.
- Anyone who deals with such impostors does so at their own risk, as the University will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from illegal transactions.
