IAUE Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Exercise for 2025/2026 Admission; The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt wishes to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates that the screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session will be conducted in a hybrid format via the University’s Post-UTME/DE Screening System.

Schedule for Screening Exercise
- Start Date: Monday, 18th August, 2025
- End Date: Tuesday, 26th August, 2025
- Venue: ICT Centre, Main Campus, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
- Time: 8:00 a.m. daily
Screening Components

All candidates are to undergo the following processes:
- O’level/A’level Certificate Verification
- Data Screening
- Score Ranking
- Compulsory Biometric Validation
Important Modalities
- No Post-UTME Test Required:
- JAMB UTME score will serve as 100% of the admission screening score.
- Direct Entry candidates will be screened based on uploaded academic documents.
- DE candidates must ensure their credentials are verified on the Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Data System (NIPEDS).
- Data Screening:
- Data provided on JAMB CAPS and uploaded to the IAUE portal will be scrutinized thoroughly.
- Ranking and Change of Course:
- Candidates who meet the JAMB score requirement but fall short in subject combination or departmental cut-off may be advised to change their course.
- Candidates must meet the UTME and O’level combinations as specified by IBASS.
- Screening Invitation:
- All eligible candidates will receive an email containing their unique screening schedule (date, time, and venue).
- Candidates are to regularly check their email inbox (and spam folder).
Screening Requirements
All candidates must present the following at the screening venue:
- In-person attendance (compulsory for biometric validation)
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
- IAUE Post-UTME Registration Slip
- Invitation printout sent via candidate’s registered email
- For DE Candidates: A’level result (NCE, ND, JUPEB, IJMB, HND, 1st Degree, GCE A-level, etc.)
- Neat and proper dressing is mandatory
- Misconduct will lead to automatic disqualification
Guidelines for All Candidates
- Candidates must monitor their JAMB portal regularly for possible changes such as:
- Change of course for proper ranking
- Data corrections
- All updates will be communicated via:
- SMS
- IAUE official website and social media pages
Note: The university will not be responsible for misinformation resulting from ignoring these platforms.
For Candidates Awaiting Results
- Candidates with O’level/A’level awaiting results should upload their results immediately after release.
- They must then visit the Admissions Unit for physical verification.
- DE candidates must ensure A’level results are verified on the NIPEDS portal.
