BUK Post UTME/DE Screening Form 2025/2026 is Out; Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has officially opened its online screening portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
If you selected BUK as your first choice in the 2025 UTME, now’s the time to take action. The screening exercise will run from 30th September to 1st December 2024.
But before rushing to apply, take a few minutes to understand the requirements and step-by-step application process.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible, you must have chosen BUK as your first choice in JAMB and meet the faculty-specific cut-off marks. There’s no one-size-fits-all cut-off—each course has its own benchmark.
While many courses accept 160, others require significantly higher scores.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME/DE Screening
The application process is completely online. Follow these steps:
Step 1 – Visit the BUK Screening Portal
Go to the BUK website and click on “2025 UTME Online Screening Exercise”.
Step 2 – Log in with Your JAMB Details
Use your JAMB Registration Number as the username, and your aggregate score as the password.
Complete the online form carefully. Your JAMB photo will automatically appear—this photo will be used throughout your stay in BUK.
Step 3 – Pay the ₦2,000 Screening Fee
After submitting your form, a Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI) will be generated with a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR). You can pay:
- Online: Using ATM card or internet banking
- Offline: Print the invoice and pay at any commercial bank
If you pay online, your acknowledgment slip will be available immediately. If you pay at the bank, return to the portal to confirm the payment and print your acknowledgment slip.
Important Reminders
- Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS. Without this, your admission can’t be processed. You can do this at any JAMB office or approved CBT Centre.
- You’re allowed to use a maximum of two sittings for O’Level results.
- Blind and international candidates are not required to write the screening test but must still register online.
- All information provided must be accurate. Any false detail may lead to disqualification.
- No late registration. Once the portal closes on 1st December, 2024, it’s over.
