FUTA Post-UTME / Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026 Admission Is Out. f you chose Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as your first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 180 or above, the university has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Key Dates
- Application Opens: Friday, 25th July 2025
- Application Closes: Friday, 28th August 2025
- Eligible Candidates:
- UTME applicants with 180+ score
- Direct Entry (DE) applicants
- Must have at least five O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply correctly:
- Visit the official FUTA website: www.futa.edu.ng
- Carefully fill out the online Post-UTME or Direct Entry application form
- Ensure your JAMB registration number and full name match your JAMB records exactly
- Submit the form and print your registration slip
Screening Fee: ₦2,000
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) via the FUTA portal
- Make payment through any bank or online using your RRR
Note: Without payment, your application will not be processed.
Important Notes
- Make sure your O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS
- You must share your JAMB result with FUTA through CAPS
- Only candidates at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025 will be considered
- There will be no admission without screening
- Don’t wait until the deadline—early registration gives room for corrections if needed
