Admission Requirements
Before you apply, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, GCE, or NECO (in no more than two sittings)
- For Medicine and Dentistry, only one sitting is accepted
- Candidates must be 15 years or older
- Admission is strictly through UTME
- If HUST was not your first choice, you can still apply, but you’ll need to process a change of institution to HUST through a JAMB CBT centre
- Foreign applicants are also welcome as long as they meet the above academic and age requirements
How to Apply for HUST Post-UTME
The application is done entirely online. Follow these steps:
- Go to the HUST Admissions Portal
- Sign up with your email and create a password
- Check your email inbox (or spam folder) for a confirmation message
- Log in using your email and password
- Pay for the form online – once successful, a registration number will be sent to your email
- Fill out the Post-UTME form carefully. You can save and continue later if needed
- Before submitting, review all details for accuracy
- After submission, print a copy for your records
- You can revisit the portal anytime to track your application status
