Standard College of Nursing Sciences Post Community Nursing & Midwifery Form 2025/2026. Standard College of Nursing Sciences, Minna, is now accepting applications for its 18-month Post Community Nursing and Post Community Midwifery programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
These advanced-entry courses are designed for practicing Registered Community Nurses (RCNs) and Registered Community Midwives (RCMs) who wish to upgrade to Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) status under full accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Programme Overview
Post Community Nursing
Tailored for RCNs, this track trains participants in:
- Hospital-based nursing care
- Chronic disease management
- Minor surgical procedures
- Emergency care and public health outreach
Post Community Midwifery
Designed for RCMs, with focus areas including:
- Antenatal and maternity care
- Labour and delivery techniques
- Postnatal care and family planning
- Maternal health support in underserved communities
Admission Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid licence as an RCN or RCM, registered with NMCN
- Have five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB; two sittings max)
- Submit a medical fitness certificate
- Provide a reference letter from an employer or academic referee
Note: RCMs will be given priority for the Post Community Midwifery programme.
