PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS), Port Harcourt, is now accepting applications for undergraduate admission into its medical and health science programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for admission, you must:
- Have taken the 2025 UTME and selected PUMS as your first choice
- Score at least 170 in UTME for all programmes except MBBS
- For MBBS, a minimum UTME score of 220 is required
- Possess five credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Mathematics — from WAEC or NECO — in no more than two sittings
- Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS
If PUMS was not your original choice, you may apply by changing your institution on the JAMB portal.
Candidates awaiting results may also apply but must update their records once available.
International Applicants
International students must comply with JAMB guidelines for foreign admissions. It’s advised that foreign applicants confirm their eligibility early to avoid delays.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Visit the official PUMS portal
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click “Check Eligibility”
- If eligible, you’ll be redirected to the application form
- Complete the form and upload the following:
- WAEC/NECO O’Level result
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Local government of origin certificate
- Reference or attestation letter
- Pay the ₦10,000 application fee via bank deposit or transfer (follow portal instructions)
- Upload your proof of payment
- Submit your application and print your clearance slip
