Who is this for? Young Africans facing financial challenges that prevent them from pursuing higher education.
Location: Makerere University Main Campus
Duration: The scholarship programme runs for ten years and covers both bachelor’s and master’s levels.

Eligibility Criteria
PRACTICE PAST QUESTIONS HERE (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, POST-UTME)
To qualify, you must: Be a citizen of Uganda, a refugee, a person with a disability, displaced, or from another African country
Have completed a bachelor’s degree from an African country
Have applied for admission to Makerere University (Main Campus) for the 2025–2026 academic session
Not hold another scholarship
Not be studying or have completed a master’s degree
Show leadership potential or community service involvement
Be under 35 years old by the application deadline
If a refugee or person with a disability, be under 40 years old by the deadline
If a refugee, hold a valid Refugee ID card or Family Attestation
Apply for one of the master’s degree programs covered under this scholarship
