This decision addresses a long-standing issue that prevented many graduates from serving in the NYSC.
Who Qualifies for NYSC Under This Update?

Graduates who completed an OND through Part-Time and later earned an HND through Full-Time.
This does not apply to those who completed both OND and HND as Part-Time students.
Implementation Process
The Federal Ministry of Education has instructed the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to act quickly.
All Polytechnic Rectors must upload student records to the new HND admission portal.
The portal will allow NYSC to verify and approve eligible candidates.

Why This Matters
Previously, many students faced rejection and delays due to their OND/HND study mode. The new system ensures fairness and makes the mobilization process smoother.
