FUPRE Secures NUC Approval for New Undergraduate Programmes; The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce new undergraduate programmes under the College of Petroleum Administration and Management. These programmes will commence from the 2024/2025 academic session.

Newly Approved Programmes
The following courses have been approved:
- B.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- B.Sc. Procurement Management
- B.Sc. Petroleum Information Management
- B.Sc. Entrepreneurship
The decision follows a comprehensive evaluation by NUC experts, confirming that FUPRE possesses the necessary facilities and expertise to offer these courses.
Official Confirmation from NUC
A letter dated 25th February 2025, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, confirmed the approval. Signed by the Executive Secretary of the NUC, the letter stated that after thorough consideration, the commission has approved these programmes in a full-time mode at FUPRE’s main campus.
With this approval, students can enrol in these courses beginning from the 2024/2025 academic session.
