BOSU Student Loan Registration Process

BOSU Student Loan Registration Process; Borno State University (BOSU) has announced the commencement of the NELFUND registration process for all students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Professor Babagana Gutti, has directed that all students complete their registration at the ICT Unit by Tuesday, 3 December 2024. This registration must be finalized before the conclusion of the second-semester examinations.

Faculties Required to Participate

Students from the following faculties are required to participate in the NELFUND registration process:

  • Faculty of Arts and Education
  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Sciences
  • Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Health and Allied Medicine

Academic Criteria for NELFUND

To be eligible for the NELFUND program, students must meet the following academic requirements:

  1. Fresh Entry: Applicants must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  2. Direct Entry: Applicants must have valid admission through JAMB into a recognized tertiary institution.
  3. Full-time Undergraduate: Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program and provide a valid matriculation number.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Documentation

Students must submit the following documents and information during registration:

  • JAMB Registration Number
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • National Identity Number (NIN)
  • Personal details, including age, gender, phone number, home address, and email address
  • A recent passport photograph

  • Visit the ICT Unit promptly to complete the registration process and avoid missing the deadline.
  • This registration is mandatory to access the benefits provided by the NELFUND initiative.
