BOSU Student Loan Registration Process; Borno State University (BOSU) has announced the commencement of the NELFUND registration process for all students.
The Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Professor Babagana Gutti, has directed that all students complete their registration at the ICT Unit by Tuesday, 3 December 2024. This registration must be finalized before the conclusion of the second-semester examinations.
Faculties Required to Participate
Students from the following faculties are required to participate in the NELFUND registration process:
- Faculty of Arts and Education
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Sciences
- Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
- Faculty of Health and Allied Medicine
Academic Criteria for NELFUND

To be eligible for the NELFUND program, students must meet the following academic requirements:
- Fresh Entry: Applicants must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- Direct Entry: Applicants must have valid admission through JAMB into a recognized tertiary institution.
- Full-time Undergraduate: Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program and provide a valid matriculation number.

Students must submit the following documents and information during registration:
- JAMB Registration Number
- Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- National Identity Number (NIN)
- Personal details, including age, gender, phone number, home address, and email address
- A recent passport photograph
