School of Applied Sciences
- Artificial Intelligence
- Minimum Lower Credit in ND Computer Science (NBTE-accredited).
- One-year post-ND industrial work experience.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must have at least two years of industrial work experience.
School of Engineering
- Computer Engineering Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Minimum Lower Credit in ND from NBTE-accredited Engineering programmes.
- One-year post-ND industrial work experience.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND need at least two years of industrial work experience.
School of Environmental Studies
- Survey and Geo-Informatics
- Minimum Lower Credit in ND Geo-Informatics, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, or Cartography and GIS (NBTE-accredited).
- One-year post-ND industrial work experience.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide two years of industrial work experience.
Application Process
- Generate Invoice
- Visit the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic website.
- Enter your name and phone number to generate an invoice (RRR number).
- Pay Application Fee
- Proceed to any commercial bank with the invoice.
- Pay ₦8,000, including bank charges, to obtain the application PIN.
- Complete the Application Form
- Return to the portal and select Admissions > Application Forms.
- Enter the PIN to access and fill the application form.
- Upload Documents
- One-year industrial attachment letter.
- ND transcript or statement of result.
- Photocopy of registration receipt.

- Dates: 3rd and 4th December 2024.
- Location: Candidate’s proposed department.
- Requirements: Attend in person with original credentials for screening.
