Objectives of the ND II Direct Admission

Modalities for the ND II Direct Programme
- The programme runs for one academic session (two semesters).
- Candidates will be admitted into the second year of relevant ND programmes.
- Upon completion, graduates will receive a National Diploma and become eligible for HND admission.
- Admissions will be conducted through the JAMB Direct Entry process.
- Graduates with Pass grades from ND/NID programmes may also be admitted if they were originally admitted through JAMB (UTME).
- Ordinary Diploma graduates from accredited institutions with strong academic records (pre-December 2020) are eligible.
- O’Level Requirements: Applicants must have five O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
- IJMB and NCE holders are not eligible.
- Enrolment Limit: Enrollment should not exceed 30% of the approved NBTE carrying capacity.
Additional Requirements
- Post-ND Industrial Experience:
- Graduates with Credit grades must complete a one-year industrial experience before HND admission.
- Graduates with Pass grades must complete a two-year industrial experience before HND admission.
- Departments must submit requests to the Academic Department for processing by the NBTE.
