Professor Ediga Bede Agbo Takes Charge
Professor Ediga Bede Agbo has been appointed as the acting Vice Chancellor of FUHSO. His appointment was confirmed during a special meeting of the Governing Council held on October 17, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Engr. Ohieku Muhammed Salami, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council.
Transition in Leadership
During the same meeting, the university’s pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Innocent Ujah, was suspended due to allegations of gross misconduct and a deliberate disregard for the authority of the Governing Council. As a result, Professor Ediga Agbo has been appointed to serve as the acting Vice Chancellor for a period of six months.
