Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) 11th Regular Course Admission – Apply Here. The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) has opened applications for the 11th Regular Course Degree Programmes. Eligible male and female Nigerians of good character can apply online between 14th October 2024 and 18th November 2024.

Admission Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
  • JAMB: Valid National Identity Number (NIN) and a JAMB score of 180 or higher (2024 exam), with Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as the first choice.
  • Educational Qualification: Minimum of six credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB (including English and Mathematics) in no more than two sittings.
  • Age: 17 to 21 years by 31st October 2024.
  • Height: Male applicants must be at least 1.67m tall; females at least 1.64m tall.
  • Chest Measurement: Male applicants must have a minimum expanded chest measurement of 86cm (34 inches).
  • Marital Status: Applicants must not be married or pregnant.
  • Fitness: Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • SSCE Date: Only results from 2021 or later are accepted.

Method of Application:

  1. Visit POLAC Portal: Go to the Nigeria Police Academy Admission Portal to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.
  2. Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of N5,500.00 (including N2,000 for the Post-UTME exam) through any commercial bank in Nigeria.
  3. Complete Form: After payment, complete the online application form and upload scanned copies of your SSCE results, Birth Certificate, and Certificate of Origin.
  4. Submission: Print and submit the completed application form along with the guarantor form at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.

Aptitude Test and Screening:

  • All applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT) at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
  • Qualified candidates will be invited for an automated physical screening.

Required Documents for Screening:

Applicants must bring original copies of:

  • Educational qualifications.
  • Birth certificate or age declaration.
  • Medical fitness evidence.
  • Character evidence from village or district head.
  • Indigene certificate signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
  • Guarantor form from a public servant (GL13 or higher), police officer (CSP or higher), or equivalent rank in armed forces/paramilitary.

Medical Screening and Interview:

Candidates who pass the CBT will proceed to medical screening and a selection interview.

Notification and Training:

  • Successful candidates will receive notifications via email and SMS.
  • Training at the Nigeria Police Academy will commence on a date to be announced.

Courses of Study:

The academy offers Bachelor’s Degrees in the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Humanities: English, History & International Studies, Linguistics, Nigerian Languages.
  • Faculty of Law: Law (LLB).
  • Faculty of Science: Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Forensic Science, Mathematics, Physics.
  • Faculty of Social and Management Sciences: Accounting, Economics, Management Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.

Course Duration:

The programme includes five years of combined academic and police training, leading to a Bachelor’s Degree and commissioning into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II).
