Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) admission form for the 11th Regular Course 2024/2025. The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) is accepting applications for admission into its 11th Regular Course Degree Programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This opportunity is available for male and female Nigerians of good character who meet the specified requirements.

Application Period

  • Start Date: 14th October 2024
  • End Date: 18th November 2024

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian by birth.
  • Have a National Identity Number (NIN) and a 2024 JAMB score of at least 180.
  • Choose Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as their first choice in JAMB.
  • Possess a minimum of six credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, including English and Mathematics (in no more than two sittings).
  • Be aged between 17 and 21 years by 31st October 2024.
  • Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • Male applicants must be at least 1.67m tall with a minimum chest expansion of 86cm (34 inches); female applicants must be at least 1.64m tall.
  • Be unmarried and not pregnant.
  • Provide a valid email address and phone number.
  • SSCE certificates must be from 2021 or later.

Method of Application

PRACTICE PAST QUESTIONS HERE (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, POST-UTME)

  1. Visit the Nigeria Police Academy Admission Portal  and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.
  2. Pay a non-refundable fee of N5,500.00 (including N2,000 for the POST-UTME exam) at any Nigerian commercial bank.
  3. Complete the online form and upload scanned copies of:
    • SSCE results
    • Birth Certificate
    • Certificate of Origin
  4. Print and submit the completed application form, along with a guarantor form, at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.

Aptitude Test

  • All applicants will participate in a Computer-Based Aptitude Test at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, ICT Centre. The date will be communicated later.

Automated Physical Screening

Candidates who pass the CBT will undergo automated physical screening, where they must present:

  • Original educational qualifications
  • Birth Certificate or age declaration
  • Medical fitness evidence
  • Character evidence from the village or district head
  • Indigene certificate signed by a Local Government Chairman or Secretary
  • Guarantor form (from a public servant GL13 or higher, police officer CSP or higher, or equivalent rank in armed forces or paramilitary services)

Automated Medical Screening and Interview

Successful candidates from the Aptitude Test will proceed to automated medical screening and an interview at the academy.

Notification and Training

Successful applicants will receive notifications via email and SMS. Training will commence at a later date.

The academy offers the following Bachelor’s Degree programmes:

  • Faculty of Humanities:
    • BA in English, History & International Studies, Linguistics and Nigerian Languages
  • Faculty of Law:
    • LLB in Law
  • Faculty of Science:
    • BSc in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Forensic Science, Mathematics, Physics
  • Faculty of Social and Management Sciences:
    • BSc in Accounting, Economics, Management Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology

Programme Duration

The course combines academic and police training for a minimum period of five years. Graduates will earn a Bachelor’s Degree and be commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP II).
