Theme: “The Nigerian Army: Securing the People and Promoting Development”
Entry Period: October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025
Contest Types: Essay, Art (Painting/Drawing), Poetry
Age Categories:
- Primary Schools (Ages 5–11)
- Secondary Schools (Ages 12–17)
- Tertiary Institutions (Ages 18–24)
Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted via the competition’s official submission page before 31st March 2025.
Categories for Submission
- Essay Competition:
- Primary and Secondary Schools: Essays must not exceed 2000 words.
- Tertiary Institutions: Essays should be between 3000–5000 words.
- Essays must reflect the writer’s original thoughts and relate to the competition’s theme.
- Art Competition:
- Participants can submit either paintings or drawings.
- Artworks must be original, related to the theme, and should include a brief caption.
- Entries must be scanned or photographed and uploaded online.
- Poetry Competition:
- Poems must not exceed 200 words and can belong to any genre.
- All poems must be written in English and connected to the competition theme.
