About the FCM Foundation Board Scholarship 2024:
The FCM FBS is designed to provide one-time financial support to female Muslim students currently in their 200 or 300 level of study. In addition to the financial support, selected scholars will participate in a one-day mentorship session in Lagos. This scholarship is open to students in the following universities:

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a female Muslim undergraduate student.
- Be currently in 200 or 300 level in one of the 22 eligible universities.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 or higher (or its equivalent).
- Be willing to attend a one-day mentorship session in Lagos in November 2024.
Required Documents: Applicants must submit the following:
- A valid Student Identity Card from the applicant’s institution.
- A reference letter from a reputable Islamic organization, on letterhead, addressed to “The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.” The letter should genuinely reflect the applicant’s character and must not be generic, or it will lead to disqualification.
- A current result slip showing the student’s CGPA, signed (and stamped, if possible) by the Head of Department (HOD).
- A Personal Statement (400 words max) explaining why the applicant deserves the scholarship. AI-generated or plagiarized statements will lead to disqualification, and the foundation will check for such. Use Century Gothic font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. The applicant’s full name should be at the top of the document.
