Programme Benefits

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of 30,000 NTD for up to three months, allowing them to focus on research and development in Taiwan.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the NSTC International Internship Pilot Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. student studying at a university outside Taiwan.
  • Hold foreign nationality (students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau are not eligible, even if studying abroad).
  • Specialize in fields related to Taiwan’s key industries and research areas. Humanities and social sciences students may also apply.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese.
  • Students cannot receive financial support from other Taiwanese government departments.

Applicants need to provide:

  • Completed application form.
  • Copy of passport.
  • Detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
  • Certificate of enrollment from their institution.
  • A head-shot photo.
  • Letter of recommendation.
