SLU Post-UTME/DE For 2024/2025. Sule Lamido University (SLU) Kafin Hausa invites all First Choice UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission for the 2024/2025 Academic Session to register for the Online Admission Screening as outlined below.

Eligibility for the Screening
UTME Candidates:
- Must have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- Must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma, a Merit in NCE, or 7 points in the IJMBE Advanced Level.
Note: Interested UTME candidates who did not choose Sule Lamido University as their First Choice but wish to study at the University and scored 140 and above in the 2024 UTME should change to SLU via the JAMB website and choose any of the available programs.
Registration
Online registration for the Screening Exercise for both UTME and DE candidates will commence on Monday, 16th September 2024, and end at midnight on Monday, 30th September 2024.
Registration Procedures:
- Visit the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website at www.slu.edu.ng, navigate to admissions, and select “online application” or visit admissions.slu.edu.ng, then select UTME or Direct Entry (DE).
- Log in using your UTME number and score (for UTME applicants) or DE number, state of origin, and gender (for DE applicants) and upload a passport-sized photograph.
- Update your profile with accurate information.
- For UTME candidates: Update your ‘O’ Level Examinations (maximum of two sittings) and upload a clean, clear scanned copy of your SSCE statement of result(s).
- For DE candidates: After updating your profile, proceed to upload your SSCE and ‘A’ Level Results.
- Go to “POST-UTME payment” and click on “Pay Now” to pay directly with your card or click on “Download Payment Schedule” to generate, download, and print a payment schedule that contains all payment information. Pay the sum of ₦2,000.00 (exclusive of REMITA charges) as the Online Post-UTME/DE Screening Fee via any Commercial Bank, Debit Card, or Remita Website.
- After successful payment, generate, download, and print the “Acknowledgement Slip” to complete your registration.
Documents Required for Registration:
Successful candidates must present the originals and photocopies of the following documents during registration:
- Acknowledgement Slip
- Evidence of Payment
- UTME Result/DE Registration Slip
- SSCE Statement(s) of Result
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background
- Certificate of Indigeneship
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- ‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE candidates only)
Important:
- Candidates wishing to change their choice of institution or program using the JAMB Green Card should do so within the stipulated registration period: Monday, 16th September 2024, through midnight of Monday, 30th September 2024.
- Failure to register for the online screening exercise on the scheduled dates will result in the candidate not being considered for admission into the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
