General Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the B.Sc in Accounting programme through ODL at UNIBEN, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- O’ Level Requirements: A minimum of five credits in subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics, and any two other relevant subjects from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- National Diploma (ND): Applicants with a National Diploma in a relevant course and with merit can apply for admission into the 200 level of the programme.
Method of Application
To apply for the programme, follow these steps:
- Payment: Purchase the application form online using a valid VERVE or MASTER CARD from any commercial bank in Nigeria. The application fee is ₦13,500, excluding bank charges.
- Online Application: Complete all payments and applications through the UNIBEN Centre for Distance Learning website.
- Form Submission: Ensure the application form is accurately filled out with all required information before submitting it online. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
Application Procedure
- Visit the UNIBEN Centre for Distance Learning website.
- Click on “Student Portal” under the “Portal Login” menu.
- Select “Application” and then click on “Centre For Distance Learning Programmes 2023/2024.”
- Register for the application by providing your name, JAMB registration number (if available), and a valid email address.
- Your login details will be sent to your email.
- Log in using the provided details and click on “Application record” to proceed.
- Fill out the form with the required details, confirm the uploaded passport photograph, and click “Save.”
- Proceed to “Create and make online payment” to pay the application fee.
- Select “Pay via Remita” and confirm your details.
- Authorize the payment by entering your card details and clicking “Pay.”
- After successful payment, download your payment receipt and application slip.
