Who Can Apply?
Eligibility and Requirements
UTME Candidates:
- Must have chosen OAU, Ile-Ife as the first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME.
- Must have scored 200 or above in the UTME.
- Must have at least five credit passes, including English Language, in no more than two sittings.
- Must attend the Post-UTME screening to avoid disqualification.
Direct Entry Candidates:
- No additional screening is needed except for the verification of uploaded credentials.
- Ensure transcripts are sent to the OAU Admission Office for processing.
Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates:
- Must register for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME.
General Admission Requirements:
- Must hold a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with credit passes in at least five subjects.
- Must pass English Language at O’ Level.
- Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, a credit pass in Mathematics at O’ Level is required.
- A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at O’ Level.
How to Apply
Application Period:
- Registration starts on Monday, 5th August 2024, and ends on Sunday, 1st September 2024.
Steps to Apply:
- Visit the OAU Admissions Portal.
- Log in using your Registration Number as the Username and your Surname as the Password.
- Complete the biodata form and click continue.
- Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment online or at any commercial bank.
- Re-login once payment is confirmed.
Important Screening Information:
- Screening is conducted online. Candidates are not required to travel to the University.
- Providing false information or incorrect credentials will result in disqualification.
- Check the screening schedule on the OAU Admissions Portal from Tuesday, 3rd September to Saturday, 7th September 2024.
- Participate in the Post-UTME Screening on your allocated dates and times from 9th September to 13th September 2024.
