Bayero University Kano Extends Student Registration Period: The Management of Bayero University, Kano has approved a further extension of the students’ registration period for two weeks. The new registration period will run from Sunday, 21st July to Sunday, 4th August, 2024.

This extension follows the recent award of the National Students Education Loans Funds (NELFUND) to approximately 8,530 students of the university. The decision was also influenced by appeals from parents, guardians, philanthropists, and the President of the BUK Students Union Government.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, congratulated the pioneer beneficiaries of the NELFUND Scheme and assured that the management will continue to support and encourage more students to enroll in the scheme.
The university management earnestly appeals to students, parents, guardians, philanthropists, and state governments responsible for paying student fees to use this extended period to settle registration fees. This will help ensure the smooth delivery of the academic session.
