Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates:
- Must have taken the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected PUMS as their first choice.
- Must have five (5) credit passes in SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and Mathematics) in no more than two (2) sittings.
- Must score at least 170 in the 2023 UTME.
- For the MBBS program, a minimum score of 220 in UTME is required.
- Must upload O’level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Eligibility:
- Candidates who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME and chose PUMS as their first choice.
- Candidates who wish to study at PUMS but did not initially select it must apply for a CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to PUMS as their first choice via the JAMB Portal.
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent are eligible to apply.
International Applicants:
- Must adhere strictly to JAMB approved provisions for admission into Nigerian universities.
Method of Application:
- Visit PUMS website.
- Click on “Apply Now”.
- Enter your JAMB number and click “Check Eligibility”. If verified, you will be redirected to the application form.
- Complete the application form with accurate information and upload supporting documents:
- JAMB Result
- O’Level Result (WAEC and/or NECO)
- Birth Certificate/Age Affidavit
- Local Government of Origin
- Letter of Attestation/Reference
- Make a payment of N2,000:
- Click on “Make Payment”
- Copy the bank account number and make a transfer or direct bank deposit.
- Upload evidence of payment.
- Finalize the application by uploading the payment evidence and printing the clearance form.
