EBSU Releases 2023/2024 Pre-Degree Admission Form; Announcement for Admission into Ebonyi State University’s One-Year Pre-Degree Programme for the 2023/2024 Session

Applications are currently open for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the intensive Pre-Degree Programme at Ebonyi State University for the 2023/2024 academic session. Our primary objective at the Pre-Degree School is to provide high-quality, affordable, and accessible educational programs aimed at enabling students to gain access to various University Programmes.
Scope of the Programme:
The Pre-Degree School (PDS) offers intensive lectures and tutorials to prepare candidates for Joint Admission and Matriculations (JAMB) and O’ Level Examinations (SSCE, NECO, etc).
Benefits of the Programme:
- Comprehensive preparation for JAMB/UTME for admission into any Nigerian University, including Ebonyi State University.
- Remedial training for candidates preparing for O’ Level examinations, though not a substitute for O’ Level requirements for primary University admissions.
- Candidates successfully completing the Pre-Degree programme and meeting the minimum JAMB/UTME score can access the reserved admission quota for Pre-Degree candidates, provided they select Ebonyi State University as their first choice.
- Intensive training in basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to keep students updated with modern technological developments.
University Programmes for Pre-Degree Graduates:
Successful Pre-Degree candidates are eligible for admission into all available programmes at Ebonyi State University. Please refer to the attached PDF for the specific list.
Admission Requirements:
Candidates must possess five (5) credits in GCE O’ Level, SSCE, or NECO, obtained in not more than two sittings, or have attempted SSCE or NECO O’ Level examinations. The aim is to prepare candidates for these O’ Level examinations. Admission into Ebonyi State University’s main degree programmes after the Pre-Degree is contingent upon meeting the minimum O’ Level requirements.
Programme Duration:
The Pre-Degree Programme spans one academic session.

Interested candidates should visit the EBSU website, www.ebsu.edu.ng, to purchase application forms at a non-refundable cost of N10,050.00. Detailed instructions for form purchase and completion are provided on the website.
Commencement and Closing Dates:
Sale of Admission Forms begins immediately and ends on 30th November 2023, with lectures scheduled to commence on 5th December 2023. Candidates are encouraged to adhere strictly to these dates.
