FUNAI Admission into 2024/2025 Pre-degree and JUPEB :Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES) for the non-resident JUPEB and Pre-Degree programmes at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State. The Pre-degree programme is tailored to prepare candidates for admission into degree programmes in various disciplines (excluding Medicine and Surgery) of the University, while the JUPEB programme is an intensive 10-month coaching program designed to ready candidates for direct entry admission into the 200-level of their chosen departments in AE-FUNAI and the affiliated Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) universities, numbering over 75, in Nigeria and abroad. Successful students who have applied to study Medicine and Surgery, Law, or Architecture at AE-FUNAI will be admitted into 100-level through a highly competitive admission process.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates for these programmes must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at a maximum of two sittings. Candidates aiming for Medicine and Surgery are required to have earned the relevant credits ONLY in ONE sitting.
DURATION
The JUPEB programme typically runs for two (2) semesters over approximately ten (10) calendar months. Similarly, the Pre-degree programme spans a similar period.
APPLICATION FEE
The application fee is ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (www.ces.funai.edu.ng), click on ePortal on the menu bar, and select “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu. Provide your email address and other necessary information to commence your online application. After creating an account, log in with your Application No. and Password, and follow the prompts to input your personal and other required details. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment on your e-Portal account and proceed to make payment using your Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian Bank branch. Upon successful payment, continue your online application as required. Ensure all sections of your application form are completed accurately before clicking “Complete Application” to submit it to the online server. Your submission will be acknowledged via email and SMS. Print two coloured copies of your Application Form.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Candidates for the 2024/2025 preliminary programme should regularly check the AE-FUNAI CES Website (www.ces.funai.edu.ng) for additional relevant information. Applicants must provide a recent coloured passport photograph with a white background (taken not earlier than 3 months prior to the application), with selfies, blurred, or webcam photos strictly prohibited. Applicants uploading incorrect bio-data and credentials will be disqualified, and their application fee will be forfeited. Registration and screening at the Centre for Educational Services are only to be conducted upon receipt of an Invitation (via email) and Admission Letter approved by the Director. Applicants must use valid email addresses and PERSONAL telephone numbers. Follow the application instructions meticulously to avoid any adverse effects.
