Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS):
- An initiative to attract talented individuals globally to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia, aligning with Malaysia’s goal to become a global academic excellence center.
Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP):
- Established in 1980 to support South-South Cooperation, sharing Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries.

Eligibility:
Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) Applicants:
- Must have an outstanding academic and co-curricular background.
- Open to international graduates intending to study at leading Malaysian universities.
Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Applicants:
- Must be under 45 years old at the time of application.
- For Master’s Degree Program, applicants should have at least a Second Class Upper (Honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.0 at the Undergraduate Degree level.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency is required:
- IELTS minimum total score of 6.0
- TOEFL paper-based test with a score of 500 or internet-based test with a score of 60
- Degrees with English as the medium of instruction may also be accepted (evidence required).
- Must be in excellent health certified by a doctor/physician (the applicant bears the cost of the medical check-up).
- Must undertake full-time study for postgraduate programs at the selected Higher Learning Institutions.
- Applications are open to candidates who have received offer letters from universities in Malaysia but have not yet started their studies or those who have registered for no more than one semester for a Master’s Degree.
