Unicross appoints acting vice Chancellor; The University Community is informed that the University Governing Council has suspended Professor Augustine Oko Angba as Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State, effective from May 6, 2024. This suspension allows for an investigation into the subvention and disbursement of salaries to staff from 2020 to 2023 and related issues.

In accordance with its statutory powers, the University Governing Council has appointed Professor Stephen Ncha Ochang as the Acting Vice Chancellor during the suspension period.
