Apply For The 2024 Learn Africa Postgraduate Scholarship Program For African Women; The Learn Africa postgraduate scholarship program, led by the Women for Africa Foundation, is now open for applications.
With a track record of over 10 years, this flagship initiative has empowered approximately 350 female students from 35 African countries.
Many beneficiaries have successfully completed their studies in Spain or Morocco and have either entered their home country’s job market or pursued doctoral studies.

In this latest call for applications, the Women for Africa Foundation is particularly committed to offering doctoral scholarships and extending eligibility to students in the STEM field.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Online scholarships: Cover tuition fees only.
- Face-to-face scholarships: Cover tuition fees, transportation, accommodation, and health insurance.
Eligibility Requirements:
Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a woman with nationality and residence in an African country.
- Must be enrolled in an African university or hold a university degree from an African country. For postgraduate scholarships, a Bachelor’s degree is required, with specific requirements varying based on the scholarship applied for.
- Must satisfy the language proficiency requirements of the host university (B2 or C1 level), proven through an official language certificate or a telephone interview.
- For online scholarships, applicants must have access to a properly equipped computer to attend online courses.

- Diploma/certificate/university degree
- Academic record
- Motivation letter
- Reference letter(s)
- Official language certificate (if required)
- Project/concept note (if required)

Final candidate selection will be made in collaboration with partner universities, with outcomes announced on the Women for Africa Foundation website in June.
