NKST college of Nursing Sciences 2024/2025 admission into Basic Midwifery; NKST College of Nursing Sciences, Mkar, wishes to inform the public about the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the Basic Midwifery program. The sale of forms will commence on Friday, February 23, 2024, and will close on March 19, 2024.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:

Interested applicants are required to make a payment of ₦20,000, covering the application form and examination fee, into Zenith Bank account number 1012129112, under the account name “School of Nursing Mkar – NKST College of Nursing Sciences Admission into Basic Midwifery, 2024/2025”. Please note that neither POS nor cash payments will be accepted.

Upon payment, candidates should proceed to the bursary department of the college with the teller to obtain a receipt. With the receipt indicating payment, applicants can then proceed to the office of the Registrar to obtain an admission form.

Completed forms must be returned to the office of the Registrar on or before the date of the Entrance examination.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

The entrance examination is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 9:00 am. It will be strictly Computer Based (CBT) and will be conducted in batches. Parents, guardians, uninvited law enforcement agents, bags, GSM phones, and other electronic gadgets will not be allowed into the examination venue. Candidates are advised to come empty-handed as the college will not be responsible for any lost or misplaced items.

Furthermore, applicants are reminded that NKST College of Nursing Sciences Mkar upholds a strict dress code aligned with the practices of the NKST Church. Any deviation from the accepted style of dressing will result in denial of access to the exam venue.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Prospective applicants must be aged between 17 and 35 years.

They must hold a senior school certificate (WASSCE/NECO), NABTEB, GCE O’level, or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

(WAEC and NECO results can be combined, but NABTEB results are not accepted).
