UNICAL announces slight adjustment in Undergraduate school charges; The University of Calabar has announced a marginal adjustment in School Charges for all undergraduates at the institution. Mr. Gabriel Egbe, the Registrar of the University, revealed that the decision to implement this slight increase was made during an emergency meeting of the University’s Senate on Friday, December 1, 2023.

UNICAL announces slight adjustment in Undergraduate school charges
The adjustment will be applicable to the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions. The Registrar emphasized that this decision, sanctioned by the institution’s apex academic body, was prompted by current economic conditions and aims to uphold the University’s esteemed academic standards.
In light of these changes, students are urged to take note of the revised charges and initiate their registrations using the updated template available on the University payment portal.
For 100L and 200L students, the fee portal link is https://portal.unical.edu.ng; 400L students and above should use myunical.edu.ng, while 300L students are advised to use the previous session’s payment portal.
The Registrar assured that the University Management has made adequate preparations to facilitate smooth payment processes and course registrations.
