FUDutse gets NUC approval; The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted its approval for the introduction of several academic programs at the Federal University Dutse (FUDutse) for the 2023/2024 Academic session.

These programs include B.NSC Nursing Science, B.Sc Public Health, and B.Sc Environmental Health Sciences, among others. The NUC has also given its endorsement for PhD Computer Science, PGD, MSc, and PhD Biotechnology, PhD Economics, PGD, and MSc in Health Economics, Masters in Health Economics, MSc in Animal Science, and MSc Crop Science.
The official approval letter, which was addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and signed by Abubakar M. Gire, the Acting Director of Academic Planning, confirms that the Acting Executive Secretary of NUC has granted the establishment of full-time programs for the mentioned undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
These programs will be effective starting from the 2023/2024 academic session, following the successful verification exercise conducted by the commission.
Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, the Vice-Chancellor of FUDutse, expressed his gratitude to the NUC for granting approval for these programs. He also highlighted that these newly approved programs will significantly contribute to meeting the educational and manpower needs of the university’s catchment areas.
