UNICAL bans post-exam celebrations/reckless driving on campus; The university management has once more witnessed an unfortunate, disorderly, and chaotic incident on our premises. Some individuals were spotted engaging in unruly behavior, displaying unfamiliar colors that are suspected to be associated with secret cults.
Furthermore, others were observed driving recklessly, likely influenced by alcohol and drugs. These actions, carried out in the name of celebrating their graduation, cast a negative light on our university.
Our institution has a well-deserved reputation for producing students who are known for their decorum and disciplined conduct. Such disorderly acts pose significant risks to the safety of our students and the university community at large.
We would like to remind all motorists to strictly adhere to the speed limit of 40 km/h when driving on campus. The Chief Security Officer has been instructed, through this memorandum, to rigorously enforce the provisions outlined in this notice and to impound any vehicle found in violation of this directive.
Thank you for your cooperation.
