UNIPORT online registration for newly admitted students at university’s ICTC
As a result, all newly admitted students, including Year One and Direct Entry candidates, are hereby mandated to complete their online registration at the University ICT Centre. This measure has been put in place to curb the extortion of newly admitted students by cybercafé operators in and around the University.
Key Points:
- Purpose of the Decision: The decision to require newly admitted students to register online at the University ICT Centre aims to ensure the protection of students from unfair practices and financial exploitation by cybercafé operators.
- Commencement Date: This policy will take effect from the 2023/2024 academic year onwards.
- Registration Service Charge: Newly admitted students will be required to pay a service charge of Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000) only for the online registration process. The designated account details for payment can be accessed through aris.uniport.edu.ng.
- Registration Process: Only students who have completed their online registration at the ICT Centre will be allowed to proceed with further registration processes.
This decision has been taken in the best interest of our newly admitted students to ensure a fair and transparent registration process. By completing their online registration at the University ICT Centre, students can be assured of a hassle-free and secure experience.
