A) Two (2) Midwife Tutors: Full-Time/Part-Time
Al-Ma’arif College of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Sciences Announces Job Vacancies
The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering lectures on various Midwifery-related courses.
They will also provide effective instructions and assessments during both training and clinical practice sessions for students, whether in classrooms, demonstration rooms, or clinical facilities. The candidates will facilitate the acquisition and demonstration of instructional competence by the students.
Person Specifications/Experience:
- Certification as a Midwife Tutor by the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience teaching Midwifery courses in a recognized Nursing Training Institution in Nigeria
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline would be an added advantage

- Strong teaching facilitation skills
B) Anatomy and Physiology Lecturer: Full-Time/Part-Time
The chosen individual will be responsible for delivering lectures on Anatomy & Physiology. They will also provide effective instructions and assessments during laboratory training sessions for students in demonstration rooms, classrooms, and basic science laboratories. The candidate will contribute to the development of students’ instructional competence.
Person Specifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Anatomy & Physiology
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline would be an added advantage

C) Two (2) Health Information Management (Health Record) Lecturers: Full-Time/Part-Time
The selected candidates will deliver lectures on Health Information Management-related courses. They will also provide effective instructions and assessments during demonstration sessions for students in demonstration rooms, classrooms, and clinical facilities. The candidates will contribute to the development of students’ instructional competence.
Person Specifications:
- Holder of HND in Health Information Management from an accredited University Teaching Hospital offering the program
- Licensed Health Information Officer (HIO) by the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN)
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience as a Health Record Officer in an approved Government Health Facility
