The Direct Entry Preparation Programme offered at Nile University is a comprehensive and immersive full-time course designed specifically for students aiming to secure admission through direct entry into any university. Spanning a duration of 9 months, the programme provides students with a diverse range of skills and knowledge in subjects relevant to their chosen university program.
The curriculum of the programme encompasses a combination of Nigerian, Foreign, and A ‘Level courses. By successfully meeting the program requirements, students are eligible to gain direct entry admission into the 200 level at Nile University or any other tertiary institution of their preference within Nigeria or overseas, including the United Kingdom.
Who can apply?
- Those who possess a minimum of five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/IGCSE or their equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings.
- Those who do not have JAMB but wish to gain admission to the university through direct entry
- Those who wish to switch between disciplines (e.g from the Arts to Sciences)
