UNIBEN Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form; The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially announced the dates for its Post UTME (PUTME) and Post Direct Entry (PUDE) Admission Screening Exercise for the academic session 2023/2024.

The screening is scheduled to take place between Monday, October 9th, 2023, and Saturday, October 14th, 2023. This exercise will be held exclusively within designated centers situated on the Ugbowo Campus of the University.

Importantly, the University will be utilizing the computer-based test (CBT) mode for the entirety of the Screening Exercise.
Eligibility criteria for candidates participating in this screening process include the following:
a. UTME and DIRECT ENTRY Admission Applications: Only candidates who applied through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the 2023/2024 UTME and Direct Entry admissions, who have also chosen the University of Benin as their First Choice and have obtained a score of 200 and above for UTME Candidates, are considered eligible for this Screening Exercise.
b. Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have acquired a minimum of five (5) credit passes in the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level, Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examinations Council (NECO), or equivalent examinations. Among these credits, English Language and Mathematics (where applicable for the chosen course) are compulsory, along with three other relevant subjects (or four if Mathematics is not included), all achieved within not more than two sittings.
c. Valid Email Account: Candidates are strongly advised to possess a valid and accessible email account prior to commencing the application process.
The application process is as follows:
All applications must be submitted between 8:00 AM on Friday, August 25th, 2023, and midnight on Friday, September 22nd, 2023.
Application Procedure:
- Visit the official UNIBEN website at www.uniben.edu.
- Click on the WAEUP Student Portal.
- Select “Register for Application” positioned at the top left corner of the page.
- Input your Surname as indicated on the JAMB Registration Slip, along with your JAMB Registration number. This step will generate and display your corresponding ID and Password.
- Access the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal using the provided Username and Password.
- Navigate to the ‘Application Record’ and provide all the requisite information.
- To make the application payment, select “Add Online Payment Ticket” located at the bottom of the page. Proceed by clicking “Pay via Remita” at the top left corner. Follow the given instructions to remit the application fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using an ATM-Enabled Card from any recognized Commercial Bank in Nigeria.
- Prior to submission, review and verify the accuracy of all submitted information as corrections will not be entertained after the application deadline.
- On the specified date, return to the website to print the acknowledgment slip containing your specific course grouping for the Screening Exercise based on the Course Categories/Faculties outlined in the original text.

Key Notes:
