The NUC has approved the following degree programmes at the University of Benin:

1. B.A. English Language and Literature
2. B.A. International Studies and Diplomacy
3. B.A. Mass Communication
4. B.A. (Ed) Adult Education – Sandwich
5. B.Sc. (Ed) Guidance and Counselling – Sandwich
6. B.Sc. (Ed) Health Education – Sandwich
7. B.Sc. (Ed) Educational Management – Sandwich
8. B.Sc. (Ed) Business Education – Sandwich
9. B.Sc. Accounting
10. B.Sc. Banking and Finance
11. B.Sc. Industrial Physics
12. B.Sc. Computer Science
13. B.Sc. Statistics
14. B.Sc. Public Administration
15. B.Sc. Political Science
16. B.Sc. Social Work
17. Certificate in Early Child Health and Development

Method of Application:

1. Application Period: 7:00 am on July 26, 2023, and 12:00 midnight on August 31, 2023.
2. Register as a Part-Time Candidate at any JAMB CBT Centre to obtain a JAMB Registration Number.
3. Visit http://www.uniben.edu or http://waeup.uniben.edu using the JAMB Registration Number.
4. Select Student Portal and proceed to the Waeup Portal.
5. Ensure you have a valid e-mail account before beginning the application process.
6. Click on “PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2022/2023.”
7. Click “Register for application” and provide the necessary information. Fields marked with * are compulsory.
8. An e-mail will be sent to you with your system-generated ID and Password for login.
9. Log in on uniben.waeup.org using the provided ID and Password.
10. Click “Edit application record,” fill in the required information, and upload a coloured 1” x 1” passport photograph with a red background (JPEG format only).
11. To pay the Application fee, click “Add online payment ticket” and then “Pay with Remita.” Follow instructions to pay with an ATM-enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
12. Preview and confirm your information before submitting the application online. Once submitted, you cannot edit the application.
13. Print out the Application slip.
14. Note: An application for admission must carry a JAMB Registration Number.
15. Candidates might not need to write an Entrance Examination, but screening will be based on O’ Level/JUBEP/Diploma results. Check your admission status online two weeks after the application deadline.
