Admission Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics (except for the Political Science department, where D7 in Mathematics is accepted), in not more than two sittings in WAEC.

How to Apply:

Step 1: Change of Institution

Choose Coal City University as your first choice of university during the JAMB UTME. If you initially didn’t select CCU, you can do a change of institution at a CBT center or any JAMB Office nationwide. Note that this cannot be done at a cyber cafe.

Step 2: Upload of O’Level Result

Ensure your O’Level results are available to JAMB, as admissions are currently only issued to candidates with uploaded results. Use the services of a CBT Center or any JAMB Office to upload your result. You can also download the JAMB CAPS MOBILE app to monitor your admission process.

Step 3: Print out your Original JAMB Result

Step 4: Apply to CCU

Visit the CCU portal and click on “Apply for a Degree Programme” to generate an invoice for the application fee of NGN2,000. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and select your application type, then submit.
