UNIPORT Releases DE Admission Form For 2023/2024; All candidates who selected the University of Port Harcourt for Direct Entry Admission are required to participate in the screening process. To apply, please follow the steps outlined below:
UNIPORT Releases DE Admission Form For 2023/2024
- Visit the University website at www.uniport.edu.ng.
- Complete the online Form, providing accurate information on the following:
a. Name
b. The course of choice
c. Qualifying Examination(s) for Direct Entry Admission
d. Results obtained from Qualifying Examinations (O’level, A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB, and Degree), indicating the pass level and points.
e. JAMB Registration Number.
Registration Details:
- Online Registration Date: Monday, 3rd July, 2023 – Monday, 31st July, 2023.
- Registration Procedure:
a. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and confirm the pre-loaded JAMB details.
b. Generate a Remita Code for payment using your Master, Visa, Verve Card, or other accepted payment methods.
c. Make a payment of N2,000.00 only at any of the designated Banks (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK). Alternatively, print the payment slip and present it at the bank.
d. Obtain a Remita Receipt from the bank, which will include an Access Code confirming your payment.
e. Return to the online portal, log in with your JAMB Registration Number and the Access Code on the Payment Slip, and complete the Form as required.
f. Submit the necessary documents at the Admissions Office, including a photocopy of the JAMB Slip, Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, O’Level Examination Results (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB), A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB and Degree Results (with CGPA, if applicable). Alternatively, the requested documents can be mailed by courier to: The Admissions Officer, University of Port Harcourt, Choba, P.M.B. 5323, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Important Notes:
- Names on O’Level and A’Level Results, JAMB Result Slips, and other registration documents must match.
- Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2023 to be eligible for admission.
- Ensure registration is completed within the specified period, as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at MIDNIGHT ON MONDAY, 31ST JULY, 2023.
- Provide a valid personal telephone (GSM) number and email address during registration.
- Physical presence on the University Campus is not required for registration. Candidates can register from any location.
- Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website promptly, as failure to do so will disqualify you from admission consideration.
