EKSU Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Forms; Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, warmly invites all UTME and DIRECT ENTRY (DE) candidates who have applied for the 2023/2024 Academic Session to participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise, commencing on Monday, 4th September, 2023. Please note that there will be no examination involved.

Furthermore, the University is open to UTME candidates who initially did not choose EKSU but scored 140 and above in the 2023 UTME. Such candidates can change their first choice of institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS. Ekiti State University (EKSU) will also grant concessions to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programmes, subject to Senate approval.
Candidates who are still awaiting the results of their O’level examinations are advised not to apply for the PUTME screening exercise until their results are released.

The minimum UTME scores for Nursing, Law, and Medicine (MBBS) are 220, 240, and 250, respectively. Candidates who scored lower in these courses may apply for PUTME screening into other courses and make the necessary change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please be aware that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 6 points) and NOT LIMB for admission.

Instructions for All Candidates:
A. Procedures for Payment of EKSU Post UTME Screening Exercise on REMITA:
- Visit the University’s website at http://www.eksu.edu.ng.
- Click on “PAY FOR PUTME.”
- Select the mode of entry, i.e., UTME or DIRECT.
- Input your JAMB Registration Number.
- Enter the course you are applying for.
- Provide your name (Applicant’s name).
- Include your phone number (Applicant’s Personal Phone number).
- Insert your VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS.
- Confirm your e-mail address. (Please ensure your e-mail address is active and correct, as your payment receipt will be sent to the e-mail provided on the biller. You will not receive a receipt if your e-mail address is incorrect).
- Click on the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA box for verification.
- Click “Submit.”
- Select your preferred payment method, either CARD (where you fill in details of your ATM card – Master, Visa, or Verve card) or Bank Branch (where you present your pre-generated RRR code at any bank that processes Remita transactions to make payment). (For ease of service, it is advised to use any of the above methods of payment).
Note: Ensure you fill in your details correctly, as payment made for Post UTME application in error is non-refundable.
- Make sure you copy or print the RRR number generated after successful payment.
B. Application Steps:
i. To apply for the 2023/2024 UTME/DE, return to http://www.eksu.edu.ng and click on “APPLY FOR PUTME.”
ii. Navigate to “Admission” and click on “Start.” You will be directed to the online application portal.
iii. Sign up by providing the required details to create an account. Ensure that you provide your active E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER. A verification e-mail will be sent to you.
iv. After successful sign-up, click LOGIN to access your dashboard. Applicants are required to log in using their CORRECT JAMB registration number as ‘username’ and their personal phone number as ‘password’ used during sign-up.
v. On your dashboard, select the type of application (2023/2024 PUTME application). The next page requires inputting your JAMB Registration Number (UTME). If you chose EKSU as your preferred institution, your information will be populated automatically, and you can proceed to fill in your other details. However, applicants who did not choose EKSU as their first choice will need to fill in all their correct details on the form page.
vi. The next page will prompt you to input the RRR number generated from your payment on Remita (A.1-13 above) for payment verification.
vii. Attach your 1″ x 1″ recent color passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format only on the form page.
viii. Upload details of your O’Level result(s) obtained in not more than two sittings, including WAEC SSCE, NECO, and NABTEB.
ix. After completing the above steps, preview, confirm, submit, and print out the completed screening form.
ELIGIBILITY:
EKSU will admit only candidates who have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects, obtained at not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in related programmes for MBBS and Law. For Nursing
Science, Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics for Engineering programmes and Lower Credit for other courses.
Other requirements include registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NCE with credit merit in relevant teaching subjects for Education programmes. Direct Entry candidates interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered.
Direct Entry candidates are required to send their transcripts to: admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before 31st October 2023. Failure to do so will result in the non-consideration of their admission applications. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the University. Additionally, any false information provided by the candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.
