Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must come from a developing/emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America and currently reside there
- Must possess a university degree and professional experience from their home country
- Must be seeking a Master’s, Ph.D., or a 2–6 month post-doctoral research project at a German university
- Should be a Catholic Christian (or belong to a Christian denomination). Candidates from other religions may apply if recommended by Catholic partners and committed to interreligious dialogue
- Must have German language skills before starting studies (KAAD offers a preparatory course if needed)
