Eligibility Criteria
1. Origin and Enrollment:
- Open to indigenous individuals from Ikot Abasi Local Government Area (LGA).
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution (private or public) within Nigeria.
- Candidates must have completed at least one academic session in their institution.
2. Academic Requirements:
- Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) for university students.
- Minimum of Upper Credit for Polytechnic and College of Nursing students.
- Minimum of Merit for students in Colleges of Education.
3. Academic Performance:
- Beneficiaries must maintain the stipulated academic standards in every session.
- Submission of academic results at the beginning of each session is mandatory.
4. Exclusivity:
- Applicants must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship.
- This condition remains binding throughout the award duration.
5. Character and Conduct:
- Applicants must not belong to any cult or clandestine groups.
- Candidates must demonstrate good moral standing and integrity.
6. Consequences of Violation:
- Breach of any scholarship condition will result in the immediate termination of the award.
Scholarship Benefits
- ₦400,000 annual stipend for each successful candidate.
- Renewable yearly until graduation, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
