Eligibility Criteria for JAMB Direct Entry
To qualify for Direct Entry admission, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) O’level credit passes in SSSC subjects at no more than two sittings, including at least two prescribed subjects at the Principal or Advanced level for the chosen program.
- Two A-Level passes in prescribed subjects from IJMB, Cambridge, JUPEB, or Institute of Baccalaureate, along with three other SSCE credit passes.
- NCE holders: Credit passes in two major subjects, plus three other SSCE, NTC, or NBC credit passes (mainly for Education/Technical programs).
- Diploma Holders: A minimum of credit grade in University/National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma, along with the appropriate O’level requirements.
- Verification of Advanced Level Qualifications: A special committee will authenticate submitted results, and fake certificates will lead to prosecution.

Registration Requirements
- Unique Mobile Phone Number: Each candidate must use a unique number, which cannot be shared.
- National Identification Number (NIN): Send “NIN” followed by your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 via SMS.
- Profile Code: A 10-character code will be sent to the same phone number used for the NIN submission.
- Phone Number Linking: The registered phone number must be used for all 2025 JAMB-related transactions and future applications.
- Profile Code and e-PIN: These must be presented at a JAMB-accredited CBT Centre for registration.
- Biometric and Photograph Capture: Mandatory for completing the registration process.
- Self-Service Option: Available for computer-literate candidates at JAMB offices or Professional Registration Centres (PRCs).
