Let me be brief, as I’m short on time.

When you’re building something, don’t view it solely from your own perspective—others won’t see it that way.

I’ve seen countless systems where designers, who have the advantage of internal networks or admin privileges, overlook critical vulnerabilities. They assume access is granted because they have the rights, not realizing they’re missing flaws in access controls.

Remember, users and intruders alike will interact with your system in unpredictable ways. Don’t assume that radio buttons will always be selected or that something vital is secure just because it’s on your internal network.

It’s wise to have someone unfamiliar with your project test it out. They might uncover issues you’d never notice because you’re too close to the work and think you understand how it operates.

That’s all I have time for. Best of luck!
