Wahab Egbewole has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of UNILORIN.
Mr. Egbewole is a Nigerian Senior Advocate and a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence.
Abidu Yasid, chairman of the Governing Council, introduced Mr. Egbewole as the new vice chancellor at a press conference held in the University’s Council chamber on Thursday evening.
As the university’s 12th vice chancellor, Mr. Egbewole succeeds Professor Sulyman Abdulkareem, whose term ends on October 15, 2022.
Mr. Yasid stated that Mr. Egbewole was found worthy after the council scrutinized 13 lecturers over the course of four days.
Mr. Egbewole is a Nigerian Senior Advocate and a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence.
He was born in Osun State, where he received his primary, secondary, and tertiary education (LL. B and LL.M degrees). He graduated from Nigerian Law School in 1985 and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar.
