UNIZIK student killed while attempting to collect sim card from armed robbers
On Sunday, January 8, armed robbers shot and killed a 200-level student in the Department of Philosophy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
According to accounts, Daniel, the student, was slain while attempting to reclaim his sim card from the crooks who had stolen his phone at Success Lodge Ifite.
He was shot in the stomach and transported to the hospital, where he died from massive blood loss.
The Anambra state police command, which confirmed the occurrence, said a police patrol had been dispatched to the location to conduct an inquiry.
