The federal government has appointed yet another staff of NOUN as Member, Board of the National Teachers Institute, NTI. She is Dr. Yemisi Pitan.
Pitan, who is the Director, Ado-Ekiti Study Centre, joins 2 other members to serve on the Board.
While inaugurating the Board today in Abuja, the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, enjoined members of the Board to work assiduously in ensuring that teacher education/teaching as a profession, took its pride of place in nation building.
In recent times, NOUN staff have been in the news for different appointments at both state and federal levels.
Dr Pitan got a massive home support, as she was joined by some Principal Officers of the University. Registrar, Mr Felix Edoka, DVCs Academic and Admin. Profs. Joy Eyisi & Victor Adedipe. Prof.Patrick Eya & Barr. Riki were also on hand to support the latest appointee.
